Angelica Reyes

–

Fresno, California

Angelica (Angie) Marie Reyes, 42, of Fresno, CA, was tragically and unexpectedly taken from her loved ones on Thursday, August 20, 2026. She came into the world on December 13, 1983 to Engr. Jimmy and Dr. Linda Realon Reyes in Fresno, California.

Angie is the third of their four children. Angie was a kind, happy, friendly, funny, and an extremely loving young lady who loved her family and friends. Angie was a life-long resident of Fresno and attended Forkner Elementary, Figarden Elementary, Sacred Heart School, Tenaya Middle School, and Bullard High School. She then went to Fresno City College where she graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies.

Angie was a lifetime member of the Filipino-American Community and was the 2007 Miss Philippines of Fresno and Vicinity. She was a trusted advisor at Ashley Furniture where she enjoyed her work family and took pride in building relationships with her clients. She was a support to her family and performed many roles like caregiving for her parents.

One of Angie’s biggest and life-long dreams was to become a mother, a dream which came true on February 3, 2022 when she gave birth to Nico James. He was the light and love of her life and she was so proud and excited to become a mother and their bond was beautiful to observe.

Angie’s unexpected passing comes as an overwhelming shock to her family, friends, and loved ones, who are still reeling at the loss. She lived a vibrant life and still had so much ahead of her. She was taken far too soon, and her presence will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her father, Engr. Jaime (Jimmy) Reyes.

Angie is survived by her son, Nico James; her mother, Dr. Linda Realon Reyes; her siblings, Katherine Marie Reyes, Jamie Lynn Reyes, and James Brian Reyes. She is also loved by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, and nieces located in the Central Valley, the Bay Area, Southern California, and The Philippines.

The Reyes family is grateful for the loving support and prayers from the Filipino community, Marjaree Mason Center, Rabara Memorial Chapel, Clovis Unified School District, all of our friends, colleagues, and those affected by these events and who have reached out in support of Angie and her son.

A recitation of the holy rosary will be recited on Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Shrine of St. Therese Catholic Church, 855 E. Floradora Avenue, Fresno, CA 93728. Here we will honor Angie with eulogies and tributes from family and friends.
