Madera, California
In the quiet, comforting warmth of Madera, California, we bid goodbye to a remarkable man, David Patterson. Born on July 27, 1940, in the small town of Matador, Texas, David brought his Texas spirit and love of family to the Golden State, where he spent 70 cherished years. His was a life filled with diligence, faith, and a deep affection for those close to him.
David was a man who channeled his creativity and precision into his work as an HVAC draftsman. His career spanned four decades, including twenty years at Johnson Air, where his skills in installation and drafting were highly valued. He spent another twenty years at Spangle, where he was instrumental in drafting and bidding new jobs. His work was not just a profession; it was a testament to his meticulous nature and his love for creating something practical and essential from mere sketches. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he was a man who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. His love for hunting harked back to his Texan roots, while his ability to create beautiful work with his hands spoke volumes about his patience and attention to detail. Above all, his faith and love for his family were the cornerstones of his life.
David now joins his beloved wife, Wilma J Patterson, his parents, General and Annabelle Patterson, his oldest son, David Glenn Patterson, and his sister, Mary Lashley, in eternal peace.
He leaves behind a legacy carried forward by his son, Jon Tracy Patterson and his wife Cindy; Grandson Jon Scott Patterson his wife Tasha her children Brennen & Taylor, and great granddaughter Kaylee Bump; Granddaughter Shandi Amoureux and her husband Michael, great granddaughter Tracy, great grandsons Ryan, Austin and Spencer; Granddaughter Shayna Patterson and her husband Ben; Sister Phyllis Craig and husband Clyde, Sister Linda Fitzpatrick along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
