Dominiq Puentes

Fresno, California

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Dominiq Giovonii Puentes, born on November 13, 2012, in Fresno, California. Dominiq, in his short but impactful life, embodied this sentiment with a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of everyone he met.

Dominiq was a bright, energetic, and charismatic young man. He was a dedicated student who brought enthusiasm and a zest for learning to his school. With a contagious laughter and a love for life, Dominiq was a beacon of light, inspiring those around him to embrace every moment. Despite his young age, he had a wisdom and empathy that far exceeded his years. His profound love for his family and friends, his passion for knowledge, and his unyielding spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of those who knew him.

Dominiq leaves behind his loving parents, Brandon and Brittany Escobedo, who will forever cherish their precious time with him. His absence leaves a void that will never be filled, but the joy and love he brought into our lives will never be forgotten.

He was more than just a son - he was a protector to his siblings, a light in our home, and truly the keeper of his family. Since he left us too soon, there's been emptiness that words can't explain. His brothers and sisters are trying to understand a world without him, and so am I.

Dom was always a mama’s boy, and that bond can never be replaced. No man, no person, no thing in this world could ever take his place in my heart. He was my comfort, my laughter, my sidekick in the kitchen, and a piece of my soul.

The celebration of Dominiq's life will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, at 10:00 am PDT at the Adventure Church - Main Campus, located at 4910 East Ashlan Avenue, Fresno, California, 93726.

We invite everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Dominiq to share their memories and upload photos to his memorial page. His life, though short, was full of love, joy, and unforgettable moments. Let us remember him as he was - a shining star, a beautiful soul, a beloved son. As we mourn his physical absence, let us also celebrate his spirit, which will forever be among us. Like Herman Melville said, "We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects." Dominiq's life was a testament to these connections, and his influence will continue to resonate within all of us.
