Edward Ybarra

–

Fresno, California

Edward T. Ybarra, known to his loved ones simply as Eddie or Snoop, was born on April 28, 1979, in Fresno, California. He passed away on May 26, 2026. Edward was a cherished son, a beloved brother, uncle, and a dear friend to many. He lived his life with an undeniable passion, and his spirit was as vibrant as the city he called home. His journey was not always easy, but he faced every challenge with grace and resilience. As American author Helen Keller once said, "Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved."

Edward spent his days working as a car detailer at a local dealership. Although he had been in the profession for just three years, his dedication to his craft was evident in every car he touched. Edward's love for cars extended beyond his job; he loved driving his remote-control cars and riding his bike. He found joy in the simplest things and shared that joy with everyone around him. His hobbies were a reflection of his personality – full of life, vibrant, and always on the move. Edward embodied this sentiment in every aspect of his life.

Edward is survived by his parents, Gene and Ruby, his sister Regina, and his brothers Angel and Rick, his grandmothers Dolores and Victoria, his nephews and nieces Anthony, Nital, Ricki, Isaac, Ezekiel, Solomon and Aristotle.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Henny. Edward's family and friends will remember him as a man who lived life to its fullest, who loved deeply, and who was always there for those he cared about. His life was a testament to the power of resilience, the importance of family, and the joy of simple pleasures. The visitation will take place on Thursday, 18 Jun 2026 at 11:00 am at Rabara Memorial, 916 East Divisadero Street, Fresno, California, 93721. The funeral service will follow at the same location at 12:00 pm.

We invite you to leave your memories of Edward and upload photos to his memorial page. This will help us all remember the joy he brought into our lives and the legacy he leaves behind. As William Penn once said, "Death is but crossing the world, as friends do the seas; they live in one another still." Edward may have crossed the world, but he lives on in our memories and in our hearts.
