Emely Mijares Tolentino

Emely Mijares Tolentino, born on April 15, 1964, in Tarlac City, Tarlac, Philippines, she lived a life of courage and strength that touched everyone she encountered.

Emely, who lived in Fresno, California for 23 years, was a diligent worker in the Salmon Production industry. For 20 years, she dedicated herself to her role as a Food Processor, demonstrating her commitment and hard work. She was a woman who believed in the dignity of labor and found joy in her occupation. Emely had a unique ability to find beauty in everything she did, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those around her.

She is survived by her beloved mother, Herminia Tolentino, and her cherished daughter, Olivia Ponce.

Emely's life and memory will be celebrated during a visitation on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel of the Light, located at 1620 West Belmont Avenue, Fresno, California. A rosary service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the same location.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday, May 1, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Victory Church, located at 2838 North West Avenue, Fresno, California.
