Jose Flores Amezcua, born in San Pedro Cahro, Michoacán, Mexico, passed away on April 2, 2026.

He is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Flores, and his children—Jose Luis, Eustaquio, Maria Crescencia, Erica, and Rafael Flores—as well as his 14 beloved grandchildren.

Jose found his greatest joy in being surrounded by family and friends. He was known for his lively spirit, his love of storytelling, and his ability to bring laughter to any room. He had a deep love for music, especially the songs of José Alfredo Jiménez which reflected his passion for tradition and celebration.

He took great pride in making carnitas and sharing them with loved ones, turning gatherings into lasting memories filled with warmth and joy.

Jose will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the love he shared so generously. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Visitation for Jose will be held at Chapel of the Light 1620 W. Belmont Ave., Fresno, Ca 93728 on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM and Funeral Mass at Shrine of St. Therese 855 E. Floradora Ave., Fresno, Ca 93728 at 10:00 AM with Burial to follow at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery 264 N. Blythe Ave., Fresno Ca 93706.
