It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Leonardo Alejandro Arroyo, fondly known as Leo, on June 2nd, 2026. Born in Selma, California on May 28, 1993, Leonardo's life was a testament to the adventurous spirit, the thoughtful mind, and the humble heart he carried within him.
Leo was a man of many passions, his love for nature and travelling led him to embark on numerous hiking adventures, always accompanied by his partner, Royer and loyal fur babies, Sophie, Metzli, and Maddie. He had a deep affection for birds, their melodic songs inspiring his love for singing. He worked at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center, where he served as a dedicated housekeeper for six years. A chef enthusiast, Leo was also perfecting his sourdough bread skills, his culinary creations becoming the highlight of every gathering. Leonardo was indeed the life of the party, his infectious laughter and radiant energy lighting up the room.
Leo is survived by his life partner, Royer Ramos, his father Alejandro Arroyo, his siblings Natalie Roque of Sanger, Jovanna Roque of Selma, Karina Arroyo and her partner Francisco DeLeon of Fresno, Amarissa Arroyo of Selma, and Kimberly Arroyo of Selma, as well as his in-laws Cenobio and Griselda Ramos. He also leaves behind his beloved nieces and nephews. Leo has left this world to be reunited with his mother, Maria Juanita Arroyo.
The visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. at Rabara Memorial located at 916 East Divisadero Street, Fresno, California, followed by a celebration of Leonardo's life at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel.
