Lisa Casey

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Diane Casey, who left this world on May 21, 2026. Born on August 29, 1974, in Fresno, CA, Lisa spent most of her childhood in the vibrant community of Biola, CA, where she attended Biola Pershing Elementary and later graduated from Sierra Vista High School in Dinuba. Lisa's life was marked by her dedication to her family, her faith, and her career. She was a dental assistant for 13 years, a role she approached with the same kindness and diligence that defined her as a person. "The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well," said Ralph Waldo Emerson. Lisa embodied this quote in every aspect of her life.

Lisa was a devoted mother to her two children, Brittany and Joshua Harp. After marriage and the birth of her children, she lived for a time in Reedley and Bakersfield before moving back to Biola. There, her faith blossomed as a dedicated Jehovah's Witness. Lisa's compassion and devotion saw no bounds; she was a beacon of light to her family and community. As Mother Teresa once said, "Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love." Lisa did small things with great love every day, touching the hearts of all those around her. She is survived by her mother, Diane Casey; her children, Brittany Moss and Joshua Harp; her brother, Tommy Casey; and her grandchildren, Jayden, Xaylie, and Rylie Harp. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Casey.

To celebrate Lisa's life, a service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026, at 11:30 am PDT at the Chapel of the Light located at 1620 West Belmont Avenue, Fresno, California, 93728.
