NICKY REY ORTEGA
June 8, 1995 – April 11, 2026
Nicky Rey Ortega age 30, passed away April 11, 2026, surrounded by family.
He was preceded in death by his parents Nick Ortega and Etrice Gonzalez, and his brother Nathaniel Ortega, his uncle Robert “Gijo” Moreno Gonzalez, and great grandmother Nellie Moreno.
In addition, Nicky leaves behind his Grandmother “BooBoo” Mary and Grandparents Manuel and Star Ortega, Uncle Benjamin and Aunt Lila, and Lil Ben, as well as many uncles, aunts, and cousins, and his precious puppy, Honey.
Nicky was born and raised in Fresno, Ca. He attended Fresno High School and went on to further his education at Fresno City College. He later found his love for creating and writing his own music and beats for his Podcast and YouTube channel.
Nicky was employed by Dollar General for 9 years. He was loved by all his co-workers and customers, and many more.

A Celebration of Life for Nicky will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 2101 North Fruit Avenue, Fresno, California, at 10:00 am PDT. This will be followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 pm at Mountain View Cemetery, 1411 West Belmont Avenue, Fresno, California.
