Alex Ortiz

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of, Alex Ortiz, born as Pablo Ortiz on March 29, 1969 in Pueblo, Colorado. Alex, as he was fondly known, was a resident of Fresno, California for 53 years where he touched countless lives with his vibrant spirit and tremendous heart. He departed from this world on July 22, 2026, leaving a void that can never be filled.

For over 15 years, Alex dedicated his life to his passion as a Tattoo Artist, etching not just skin, but also hearts with his artistry and warmth. As much as he loved his work, his grandchildren held an even dearer place in his heart. Alex was the beloved "Tata" to 22 grandchildren, his love for whom was immeasurable. He will be missed by his beloved fiancee Sandra Garcia and by his children, Alex, Angel, Paul, Gabriel Ortiz and stepchildren Adrianna and Angelina Hernandez.

A visitation for Alex will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at Rabara Memorial, 916 East Divisadero Street, Fresno, California. The funeral service will follow in the chapel at 11:00 a.m.
