Raymond Gonzales

Raymond Ralph Gonzales, a beloved brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on April 30, 2026. Born on June 7, 1978, in Fresno, California, Raymond, affectionately known as "Shabongboo" lived a spirited life, filled with laughter, dance, and an unwavering love for his family. His infectious smile and captivating personality made him the life of every party, spreading joy and laughter wherever he went.

Known for his funny and loving nature, Raymond was a beacon of light in the lives of those who knew him. His thoughtful spirit was as constant as his dedication to his family, especially to his nieces and nephews. He was a devoted sales clerk, bringing the same energy and zest to his retail career that he brought to every aspect of his life.

Raymond is survived by his siblings, Manuel Gonzales III, Armando Gonzales, Corina Gonzales, Johnny Gonzales and Anthony Gonzales. His will also be missed by his 13 nieces and nephew an 7 great nieces and nephews who will continue to honor his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Jr. and Rebecca Gonzales. Throughout his life, Raymond remained a steadfast source of love and support for his family, and his spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

A visitation will be held at Chapel of the Light on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A service will follow at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel.
